Light2World is a not-for-profit social enterprise based in the UK. We have been busy developing business models that pave the way for affordable, community renewable energy systems. We work specifically with solar power. Together, we combine over 35 years of experience in England, a top 5 industrialised country, and work within a wide range of engineering technician disciplines, namely microprocessor technology. Our expertise with mechanical electrical systems has even been recognised and awarded industry certifications.
Bringing the Green Energy Revolution to Isolated Communities
Further adapting experience from multiple industries, we are introducing the solution to one of the biggest challenges in the world today – reaching rural and urban low-income households with renewable energy! Our mission focuses currently on delivering affordable renewable energy to rural, low population, scattered, and most especially isolated communities and urban low-income pyramid base households in Nigeria. This will grow to enable a new industry to be formed, one that will serve rural and urban communities left behind by the Green Energy Revolution. It is even projected to create jobs for over 1 million people, delivering not only electricity and light but more opportunity to these isolated communities.
